ING - Desktop Banking Dashboard (Concept)

ING - Desktop Banking Dashboard (Concept)

I redesigned a desktop banking dashboard with a strong focus on clarity, hierarchy, and context-preserving actions.

Instead of pushing users through multiple pages, I introduced a right-side action area that keeps key operations (transfers, subscriptions, card management) accessible without breaking the user’s mental model. The layout prioritizes financial overview and transaction history, while secondary actions remain discoverable but visually lightweight.

Special attention was given to:

clear separation between primary banking tasks and management actions

calm, Scandinavian-inspired visual language

scalable card taxonomy (Everyday, Virtual, Disposable)

reducing cognitive load in a data-dense environment

This concept demonstrates how a complex banking interface can remain trustworthy, readable, and future-ready on desktop.

The same design rules applied across multiple product areas. This approach allowed the interface to scale without redesigning individual components.
